As June draws to a close I wanted to share some things that we have been enjoying this month. There is a mini review for each to inspire you to try something new in the coming month.
The Raw Chocolate Co - Organic Raw Chocolate Raisins
I will pretty much eat anything if it's covered with chocolate, but I am quite partial to a chocolate raisin. I saw these and thought I would try them, as they seemed to be much healthier than your average chocolate raisin, each one being covered in raw cocoa. I wasn't sure how they would taste considering this and thought they might be a bit too 'health foodie', but they are actually very nice and I'll be keeping some in the house for a slightly healthier chocolate fix.
Most children enjoy a bit of CBeebies and my little boy is no exception. Although I try to limit his screen time to within reasonable means we do have things like Something Special and Bing on in the background sometimes, although recently he has become much more engaged with them. Most recently he has gone from finding The Twirliwoos mildly interesting to absolutely hilarious. He giggles his head off every time they come on, so now I can't resist putting them on in the morning so I can see his little happy face.
I have been mildly obsessed with Citrine recently. I'm not sure why - I've just felt very drawn to the stone and wanted to buy a Citrine necklace while we were in Glastonbury. Luckily there are many crystal shops in Glastonbury, but I particularly love Elestial on the High Street. The staff are lovely and very helpful, and it is a sea of beautiful crystals. This necklace was right in front of me as I walked in! It turns out that Citrine is known as the 'success stone' which is interesting seeing as I am currently embarking on new endeavours such as the blogging and a spot of film making. We will see if my necklace brings me good luck.
Yoga Matters - Yoga Mat
I bought this pink yoga mat from Yoga Matters at the Om Yoga show ages ago, but as yoga has gone on the back burner over the past year I haven't really used it. I have been trying to get back into yoga and fitness in general over the past month I dug it out and am loving it so far. The grip is great which is what you need when doing yoga and it is nice and long, so both me, Bobby and several toys can fit on it at the same time. And the colour always helps, it is a lovely calming shade of pink. I think Bobby likes it as well, he always comes and sits on it the second it comes out and likes to help roll it away when we are finished. I think he approves.
I hope you have enjoyed this month's favourites and hope you have a great July. If you have any ideas for green or alternative products that you would like me to review, please let me know in the comments below or email me from the contacts page above.
