November has gone by in a flash. I know I have said this about other months, but I really don't know what has happened to November. At the same time, Halloween seems like a long time ago. Before I knew it, it was time for my November favourites post - luckily I actually have some favourites to show you this month. Bobby's current favourite is cars. He is obsessed with cars (and pretty much anything with wheels.) He likes to watch Mr Bloom: Here and There, I think just because there is a car in the opening and ending credits - he likes to point at the tv and shout 'CAR!' whenever it is on. Besides planes, trains and automobiles, here are some other things that we have been enjoying this month.
Jo Concannon collects driftwood and ocean treasures from the beaches of Anglesea and sells her Eclectic Creations at Makers Markets around Manchester. I picked up this 'The Beach' sign and also a sea glass candle at the Eccles Makers Market last month. The sea glass candle is a jar with sea glass packed around a tealight candle, the glass glows when the candle is lit. I haven't tried it yet, but I will be photographing it as soon as I do so you can see the result. Jo's pebble pictures and creations make lovely gifts - you can find her on Twitter here. You can find out more about the Makers Markets here.
Little Bird by Jools Oliver
As my previous post was a review of Little Bird, I just wanted to place it into my favourites this month, as I am loving the current range. I have bought this hoody in 2-3, so Bobby will be fitting into it soon and I am sure it will look great on him. I love the rainbow colours and patterns that this brand embraces - it makes a change from the usual pink and blue. You can read my full review o the brand here.
Mask of Magnaminty - Lush
It's no secret that I love Lush - their products, their message ...everything! I have been wanting to try Mask of Magnaminty for a while and when my friend and I paid a visit to Lush the other day, I knew I had to get some - especially as my friend had gone in there to buy some. The mask is designed to clear and calm the skin, which is exactly what I need during a hormone eruption. It has peppermint in it which feels soothing and I am liking it so far. I will be posting a full review of the mask in the near future, but in the meantime you can find in on the Lush website if you would like to find out more.
Run and Fly
Run and Fly are a unique vintage style clothing brand that I have recently discovered. I bought this dress from Thunder Egg who currently have a pop up stall at the Manchester Christmas Markets. I just fell in love with it and can't wait to wear it over Christmas. I love unique clothing that is different from the usual high street stuff and this brand really hit the mark. I couldn't find a website for the brand, but they are available to buy from a number of well known online stores. I bought mine from Thunder Egg, a women's clothing and accessories store in Manchester - you can check them out here.
I hope you have enjoyed my favourites for November. For next month I am debating whether to do a year round-up of items that I have liked, (particularly those that are eco friendly) as well as my December favourites post. I will keep you updated.
